Born in Augusta, Georgia during a war time, W.W.II, I am southern through and through. I attended high school and college in Macon, Georgia.

I've been a storyteller since I could talk, and there are folks who say I never stop talking. Not true. I never stop thinking of stories, though.

From the time I discovered books, I wanted to become a teacher, so I did.

After attending Mercer University, I taught high school language arts/English for 15 years. Since before 1991, I have worked seriously writing fiction, attending workshops and conferences on writing.

May 7, 2005 I became a mother-in-law! I have a son-in-law who is wonderful. Check out the gallery for photographs.

The teacher in me and my inner child decided to cooperate and go for the website where they can share with more people.
